After School Academy is offered free of charge to students of Telstar Middle School on Tuesdays until 4:30pm. It begins promptly after the second round of busses departs and each student is given a snack. Students are asked to prioritize and make a plan for the afternoon work session based on their individual needs. Students use ASA to do homework, complete missing assignments, redo other assignments, or make up labs/work/assessments due to absences. The teachers from each grade level provide help and encouragement while striving to create a positive work environment.

Students are released from ASA at 4:30pm and are either picked up by a parent, attend MKA (as a paid member) until the late bus, or go to their athletic practice.
