The Mt Abram Local Student Access Pass is on their website and ready for registration!
The Local Student Access Pass program began in 2020 with the vision of increasing access to healthy winter outdoor recreation for all local youth who may not otherwise have the chance to ski or snowboard.
Details: Through the Local Student Access Pass program, every child eligible to enroll in the MSAD44 school district can enroll for a free 2025/2026 youth ski pass. This includes all public, private, and homeschooled students in the MSAD 44 district. There are no income restrictions or applications needed.
Registration: Online registration is now open and will close January 31, 2026. Families will register online by selecting the Local Student Access Pass and using the discount code 25LSAP26 at check-out. It is necessary to complete all the student information and to have a parent complete the online waiver. If you have multiple children in your family, the discount code will work for multiple passes in a cart.
Pass Pickup: Passes can be picked up during pre-season pass times or operating hours. Visit the Mt.Abram Guest Services desk inside the Main Lodge (located at 308 Howe Hill Rd Greenwood Maine 04255).
Students can use a photo from previous years or email a pass photo in advance to seasonpass@mtabram.com to expedite the process.
Rentals: If your student needs financial assistance for seasonal or daily rentals, please submit an application directly through the Mt Abram Ski Club. Please indicate the monetary amount needed when applying. Applications are currently being accepted. Email info@skiclub.org for more information.
Eligibility verification: Eligibility will be confirmed at the me the pass is picked up. We are working directly with the schools to verify enrollment. If your child is homeschooled, we are asking for a Letter of Confirmation confirming your intent on to homeschool for the year and/or proof of residency.
